How much do you charge?

Ahh... the $64,000 dollar question - and that's not our fee. Although we will come for that - twice in fact. We're not a cheap band, but then you're getting the best. Talk to us - we love our work and we'd rather play than not. There's nothing like live music and a big band. We charge more for important nights like Christmas and New Year's Eve, but if you've got a special night or day of your own, get in
touch.

Are you always this big?

Generally, we come in 11 pieces and it's worth it. Nothing beats the full heady mixture of soulful voices, crying guitars, pulsing rhythms and wailing horns - and that's in the happy numbers! If you must, and our horn players fancy a night off, we can come as 8, but we'd rather not. Save up the extra pennies and give yourselves a real treat.

Do you guys need food and drink?

Yes, please. We're generally away from home - aah again! If we go out to eat we may not come back - only kidding. But eating and drinking keeps us alive and you can make sure we stay put by providing something sustaining.

What do you look like?

Brutally handsome and terminally pretty, as the Eagles once said. And we're nothing like the Eagles. But we look good as you can see, and it's part of the act. Suits for the guys, similar for the girls but you get to see their legs. So that means we would like a dressing room please, and preferably not
the loo or kitchen.

How about power?

We need the electric. Two 13 amp sockets are nice, and although we've improvised (don't ask!) by necessity, we would rather not, and it's safer for you if we don't. All our gear is top of the range and safety checked regularly, and we like to keep it that way.

What about a stage?

Preferably, but we've played on the floor before now and no doubt will again. A stage is good for everyone - you get to see the full glory and don't bump into the players. We need at least 25 sq metres, 15 ft by 15 ft in old money. Otherwise we sit on each other's knees and that's especially difficult for Spud and his drums, not to mention Tom's trombone.

What about lights, smoke and pyrotechnic effects?

Just joking about the pyrotechnics - but then? We are fully equipped for sound with a 5K PA rig and professional desk with live sound engineer - or he generally is. We can supply lights and effects if you wish and we also know a lot of impoverished DJs. The PA can be used by others, due to having the aforesaid live engineer, who is ace at getting
the best out of people.

Any other questions?

Just ask. We don't bite, and we love talking about ourselves. When you're as good as we are, it comes naturally. We live for what we do and our whole aim is to give you a memorable experience of classic soul at its best! Think OTB - you won't be disappointed'
